I Get It. You Don't Like The Team...

If anything happens that
doesn't directly benefit MY team...
SUSPEND SOMEBODY!!!

You know, I've been wanting to write about this for a while. It never ceases to amaze me the depths that people will go to in order to hate on any team that isn't their own. For example, we've been seeing it whenever the New England Patriots win a game. You will see fans of the team that the Pats beat 38-3 claiming that the only reason New England won was because they cheated. The fact that their team only had 3 first downs and 107 yards of total offense, combined with 12 minutes time of possession had NOTHING to do with the loss. The Patriots cheated, and should be fined, and stripped of every win in the team's history! Okay, I'm exaggerating...a little bit.

But in week 17 of the 2015 NFL season, there were 2 glaring examples of this idiotic Haterade that I noticed. Both of my teams were involved. In the New England Patriots game at the Miami Dolphins, the Dolphins beat the Patriots 20-10. During the game, Dolphins defensive lineman, Ndamukong Suh was trying to sack Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady. Suh hit Brady low, and Brady was injured slightly. Turned out to be a sprain. It was a clean hit, and there were no flags thrown, but within minutes, all the bloggers were posting about how dirty it was, and how dirty of a player Suh is. To be fair, Suh does have a history of dirty hits, and he's been fined heavily in the past. BUT, he did not commit one single dirty play this entire season. This happened literally every time Suh got a sack or a big hit. You'd better believe that the NFL had the refs watching Suh like a hawk, ready to flag him for a dirty hit that would have him suspended for the year. It never happened, to the dismay of all the Suh haters. But, on every single one of these blogs, you'll find comments like "Dirty POS needs to be kicked out of the league!" How about their teams try something like maybe STOPPING Suh? But they would rather have the refs make a bad call and eject him for no reason. To be fair to Patriots fans, I saw lots of comments from them saying "I'm a Patriots fan, and as scary as it was, that was a clean hit." These comments are from "fans" who just like to bitch and whine about anything. In fact, every time it happened this year, there were comments from the fans of the team Miami was playing saying that the hit was clean. But, like the Patriots haters, the Suh haters are going to pounce every time he breathes. Its ridiculous.

What the haters forgot to mention in their blogs
was the Patriots player grabbing Suh's face mask
that pulled him into Brady.
Next up, the Carolina Panthers game vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bucs fullback, Jovorskie Lane suffered the worst injury I've seen since Joe Theismann. His ankle was flopping around. It was painful to see. It was so bad, the TV network even refused to show it a second time. You know its bad when the opposing team's players are in tears, and standing with the team's players in solidarity and respect for the fallen player.

Yeah, it was terrible.
As Lane was carried off the field, Panthers players were encouraging their fans to get LOUD in respect for him. And, they did. Lane later tweeted that he was going to be okay. Nobody; not bloggers, not Bucs fans, not announcers even suggested that this injury was intentional until......

The sad part? This guy is a Panthers fan. I was watching the game, and saw the hit. I saw it several times online afterward. You can't plan to do that to someone unless you have them strapped down, and smash them with a sledgehammer. In fact, nobody even hit Lane in a one on one collision. It was a pile up. Come on, man! Did he think that the Panthers huddled up and said "Ok, guys, lets take Lane out. When we pile up, let's just make sure that in a fraction of a second, someone snap his ankle!" Some people need to get a clue. It was an accident. A horrible accident. Nothing more. And, Thomas Davis, the player who made first contact with Lane and rolled over his ankle was destroyed emotionally about it.

Does this look like the reaction
of someone who intentionally
hurt someone?
I get it. People are always going to have teams that they hate. I hate the Patriots. I hate the Jets. But when they beat Miami, I blame Miami for crappy play. I don't blame refs, or accuse someone of cheating. Its called MANNING UP. Its ridiculous everyone wants to blame someone else when they screw up or their team lays out a stinker of a performance. Its also ridiculous that people think that you can have a violent game like football and be injury free. The idea that whenever an injury happens, someone is to blame is stupid. Its thinking like that which is responsible for all these rule changes that are slowly changing football into flag football.

When a person signs up for the military, there is an accepted fact that they may be in harm's way, and could be killed. These people make significantly LESS than an NFL player, but still enlist. In football, you know there is a chance that you could hurt. Like the military, the risk goes with the territory. The players do understand that. The fans should too. If all the fans who are blaming everyone but their team for a loss or injury would just man up, that would go a long way towards reversing the trend of pussification in this country.

So, if your team loses, its because your team didn't play as well as the other team. If a guy gets hurt, it is RARELY intentional. And, the NFL is NOT rigged in favor of specific teams or players. This is a fact. Deal with it.

Miami Dolphins: New Coach + Winning Attitude= WINS!

My coach can beat
up your coach!

When the 2015 football season started, Miami Dolphins fans had extremely high hopes. Many sportswriters were picking them to go deep in the playoffs after off season acquisitions of skill players like Cameron Jordan, Greg Jennings, and Ndamukong Suh. With all the talent already on the team, with players like Jarvis Landry, and Ryan Tannehill ready to make the step from good players into gamebreakers, the stage seemed to be set for a dream season that Phins fans had been waiting for years to witness.

Then, reality set in after an extremely lackluster showing in a win over the Washington Redskins. Fans were disappointed, but gave them a pass, assuming that the team just started slow, and they would come in and dominate the Jacksonville Jaguars the following week. That didn't happen. The Dolphins lost to Jacksonville. Then, for the home opener, they lost badly to the Buffalo Bills, and lost again in an even more abysmal performance against the New York Jets. The Miami Dolphins were 1-3, and would have been 0-4 had it not been for a lucky punt return against the Redskins courtesy of Jarvis Landry. To make matters worse, they were 0-2 in the AFC East, and the fans were demanding answers. And action.

Head Coach, Joe Philbin entered the season on the hot seat. This was a do or die season for him, and he certainly wasn't doing it. Neither was defensive coordinator, Kevin Coyle. Both were fired following the debacle against the Jets, and rightfully so. There was NO excuse for the pathetic look that the team was showing with all the talent on the roster.

So, Tight End Coach, Dan Campbell was named interim head coach. He immediately started talking about a change in attitude. High intensity practices with competition. He was saying all the right things, and Dolphins fans were cautiously optimistic once again.

The Dolphins had a much needed bye week after the Jets loss, and the next opponent up was the Tennessee Titans. Everyone knew that the Titans were not a good team, and if Miami played a decent game, they should win. And, if the Dolphins players bought into Campbell's ideas, this should be a lopsided blowout win for the Dolphins. It was. 38-10. The Titans never knew what hit them. Cameron Wake had 4 sacks, and Dan Campbell got a Gatorade bath at the end of the game. The team looked energized, and were definitely playing with passion.

The following week, the Houston Texans came to town. Another sub 500 team, but this was a team had a history with Miami. The Miami Dolphins had NEVER beaten the Texans. But, another dominant performance ensued. Going into halftime, the score was 41-0, a franchise record. Jarvis Landry and Lamar Miller both had two long touchdowns. Reshad Jones had a second pick six in 2 weeks. Ndamukong Suh came alive with 2 sacks, and Cameron Wake got 2 more. Ryan Tannehill set an NFL record for most consecutive completed passes, with 25. Not to mention finishing with a perfect passer rating. During the second half, Campbell rested starters due to the upcoming Thursday night game against the Patriots, and the Texans put 26 points on the board. The final score was 44-26.

So, under Coach Campbell, the Miami Dolphins are 2-0 and are back in the post season hunt with a record of 3-3. They are re-energized, and playing with passion. In 2 games, they have scored 82 points. In the first 4 games, they only scored 65 points. Let that sink in a bit. Under Philbin, they looked lazy and clueless. Under Campbell, they are focused, intense, fast, accurate, and powerful.

So, here we are. The Dolphins are the most improved team in the NFL, and while they have everyone's attention, they still have a long way to go. But, its one step at a time. Sure, the Titans and Texans aren't powerhouse teams, the Dolphins beat them the way any elite team would have. In fact, none of the elite teams have put up 41 points in a half this year. The next step comes this Thursday when they go to Foxboro to play the Patriots. You could say that is a first real test, but in my opinion, every game from here on out is a test. Sure, they might lose Thursday, but they might win too. Miami has won 2 of the last 3 games vs the Patriots, and the 2 teams usually split. So as much as I would love to see a win Thursday, I'm not going to get my heart broken if they don't win. Personally, I think they will win. They are firing on all cylinders and playing they way they were supposed to be playing. If Campbell had been the coach from week one, the Dolphins would be 6-0 right now. Also, if Philbin had been the coach, Miami likely would have lost the last 2 games. That's all the difference. The players are buying into what Campbell is preaching, and it shows. They trust him, and are willing to do whatever is needed because they believe in him. Campbell believes in the players too.

Its a special time to be a Miami Dolphins fan. While Dan Campbell is the interim head coach, he has the rest of the season to use as an audition to be the actual head coach. The fans love him too, and it was evident at the Texans game which Campbell dubbed 'The real home opener.' As backup QB Matt Moore ran the Victory Formation, the fans were voicing their opinion of the coach. Deafening chants "CAMPBELL! CAMPBELL! CAMPBELL!" filled the stadium, and you could definitely tell that he has won the hearts of not only the players, but the fans too. Great things are coming for this team, and I am looking forward to a long and successful tenure of Dan Campbell as head coach of the Miami Dolphins

Welcome to the team, Coach!

PS: My coach can not only beat up your coach, he can probably beat up some of your LINEBACKERS!

PPS: Yeah, I know. I spoke too soon. Welcome to a day in the life of a Dolphins fan. #$%^&*%$!!!

Metal in the Super Bowl? Time For a Metal Crusade!

______________________________________
...Here comes the metal meltdown
Run for your life...
______________________________________
Katy Perry, Prince, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, etc. They were all big time guests for the Super Bowl Halftime show, but they all have one thing in common. They aren't metal. The NFL and the record company moguls seem to be in lock step agreement about what the public wants to see on the biggest stage on Earth. They actually think that everybody wants to see either the current radio cash cows (Katy Perry, New Kids on the Block, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake) or the super classic artists (Paul McCartney, The Who, Prince, etc) And, they even threw us a bone with Aerosmith and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but sorry...That is not good enough.

I'll take a gigantic Eddie over a walking
tiger any day.
The fact of the matter is that there are 3 metal bands that fit BOTH categories...Record album sales and classic artist. They are: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. And, they are all three still going strong. I'd include Black Sabbath, but they aren't going strong, despite a great showing with their latest album.

So, I am launching a 'Metal Crusade.' Simply put, I am going to do everything I can to make the NFL do the right thing, and schedule a metal band for the halftime show. You may like one of the bands I listed better than another, but if we throw the top 3 metal bands of all time in their face, they will have to pick one. Personally, I'd be stoked if any of these three were to be selected.

Think the halftime show would suck
with Priest? 'You Got Another
Think coming!"
So, how do we accomplish this? Its easy. Click this link and like and share the hell out of this Facebook page. Tell all your metal friends to do the same. Comment on the page repeatedly. If we get a million likes, then maybe the NFL will notice. Once we get to 500,000 REAL likes (meaning I am not going to enlist fake likes the way some people do) I will send the NFL an email a week until I get a reply. I'll post the contact info as well so that everyone can email.

You might think that I'm wasting my time because not everyone likes metal. You're wrong for several reasons. One, not everyone likes bubblegum pop garbage either. Katy Perry's huge tiger was cool, but her music sucks. How in the can you use the 'Eye of the Tiger' line in a song??? Next, is she going to come out with a song talking about being 'Comfortably Numb' on a 'Stairway to Heaven? Come on now. Anyway, let me get back on track here. There are just as many country fans in the US than there are metal fans. But, country fans actually LIKE Metallica. Seriously. One night years ago, I went to a country concert with a friend who had an extra ticket. The headliner took the stage at 9PM. (NINE? WTF?))) That was my reaction too. But after the early show ended, the cowfolk line danced the night away. One of the songs that they danced to was Enter Sandman by Metallica. No joke. They had a routine that looked like puppets on strings (MASTER!!!) and it really did twist my mind and smash my brain.

Say your prayers, little one, don't forget my son
to include every one!!!
Anyway, my point of that last paragraph was that even though we can't stand pop music, we all watched the rest of the half time show after we took a piss and grabbed some more beer and hot wings. Need proof? How many of you saw Janet Jackson's boob live? I know I did. But on the flip side of that coin, pop heads and country fans will watch a metal band if its on the halftime show. AND, the show would get enormous ratings which could pave the way for future metal bands to get the call.

Plus, metal is kicking its way into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The time is right to do this, but it doesn't matter. Which conquering army ever asked permission to invade?

You know you were watching!
Don't lie!

So, I am calling the metalheads to action! Let's get this done, and bitch slap the corporate douchebags in the record industry by demanding a metal band on the world's biggest stage! Lets get it done. Let's show the world that metal is more relevant than all this candy ass pop. I'd bet that Powerslave by Iron Maiden has sold more copies than all of Katy Perry's albums combined.

Hey, NFL..You will do what the fans say
when the fans say!!!
So, let's do this!!! Don't disregard this post and Facebook page as just another fan page. It isn't! Its a call to action to all metal lovers not just in the US, but the world. The NFL wants a team in London? I'm looking at you British metalheads too! Up the Irons! Summon the Metal Gods, and lets shove some metal up the NFL's ass!!!

"It has to start somewhere, It has to start some time. What better place than here? What better time than NOW???"

If you don't get on board, don't bitch about lame halftime shows. Its as simple as that.

What if the Same Standards Were Applied to YOU?

Everybody knows the story. Michael Vick, former quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons got busted for hosting a dog fighting ring. Every animal rights activist in the world, every animal lover, and every Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan was posting online and in front of every willing reporter about how much they would love to see this guy be fed to live sharks, or cut up to be used as dog feed at the local kennel. People with Vick jerseys were sending them to the local animal shelters to be used as bedding. I've read much worse than that as well.

The guy did the time he was sentenced to. He apologized to everyone, and did I mention, he did the time he was sentenced to? And by the way, he did the time he was sentenced to. A judge decided the amount of time that was necessary for the crime, and Vick served the time. He did not get into trouble while in prison. He worked out, read the bible, and was very vocal about doing the right thing to the younger inmates. In short, he learned his lesson, and cleaned up his act. Last time I checked, that is what you are supposed to do while in prison

Michael Vick now is a spokesperson AGAINST
dog fighting. No news story about that.
Now, I am in no way defending dog fighting, and I'm a dog lover So, don't go accusing me of supporting dog fighting just because I am not on the 'KILL MICHAEL VICK' bandwagon. And, I have never been a Vick fan. I always thought he was overrated, even when he had his best seasons in Atlanta. And, for the record, I am also not saying that people shouldn't dislike the guy. But, this hatred and calling for his death is stupid. I am not suggesting that everybody forget about the incident. There is a difference between saying "If that jerk harms my dogs, I'll kill him." and "Kill that dog murderer just because!!!"

Let's talk theoretically here. Let's imagine that when YOU were younger, you did something stupid. Lets say you robbed a store. Nobody was killed, but ran over a dog, as you were making your getaway. You still robbed the store, and got caught. That would land you a sentence of around 2 years, depending on the circumstances, much like Vick. YOU did the time you were sentenced to, (Just like Vick) and YOU were released from prison. Should YOU ever be allowed to work again? Should YOU have constant slander and death threats? Well? Should you?

Should you?

I'm guessing you said no. If you said no, then why not? I'm guessing that you said that you served your time, and you should be able to move on with your life. So, why isn't Vick allowed to do that? Why should Michael Vick be banned from playing in the NFL? Is it because he was involved in animal cruelty? I've seen far less outrage over countless murders where a HUMAN was killed. I saw far less outrage when Rae Carruth of the Panthers was found guilty for killing his girlfriend. I also saw far less outrage recently when Aaron Hernandez of the Patriots was arrested for the murders (of people) that he committed. I also saw FAR less outrage over Kermit Gosnell, who killed living babies outside the womb. Granted, these people aren't out of prison, and playing in the NFL, but the point is still valid. People were not posting all over the internet, and on TV that these people should also be viciously murdered.

A lesser known MLK quote. And, I have seen comments
from people saying Vick should be lynched.
Michael Vick got signed by the Philadelphia Eagles, and ultimately dropped. He was just signed to another team this week. But whenever there was a story about him on TV or the news, there were more comments advocating murder and hate than there was about whatever the story was about...like Vick making the Pro Bowl.

Ultimately, I really don't care what you think of Vick. That's all on you. I just want you to consider what would happen with YOU if you had done something stupid, and served your time. You would think that you deserved the benefit of the doubt that you had learned from your mistake, and you would hope that any prospective employer would feel the same way. And, rightfully so. The United States is supposed to be a place for second chances.
In other news,
Michael Vick, Dog Killer, animal abuser, who
was sentenced to 2 years in prison, and made the
target of countless PETA protests, and
deserves to die a gruesome, horrible death
made the Pro Bowl.

I guess it is as long as you don't hurt an animal. Humans,
okay, but don't hurt an animal!

All this being said, I now HATE Michael Vick. Why? Because he just signed with the stinking New York Jets. You want a reason to hate him? There you go. But, don't hate on the guy because of the dog fighting issue. I've said it over and over, he served the time he was sentenced to, and you wouldn't want the things that are being said about him to be said about you if you did something stupid.

Earth to Roger Goodell: It SNOWS in New York in February!!

Roger Goodell, are you an IDIOT? Don't answer that. The Super Bowl is February 2, 2014, in NEW JERSEY, at the Met Life Stadium. An OPEN AIR stadium. The chance of a blizzard in the beginning of February in New York/New Jersey? Better than the chance of rain in Miami.

So, can somebody PLEASE tell me what the hell Roger Goodell was thinking when they scheduled the Super Bowl in New York/New Jersey??? It seems that ol' Roger is surprised that they might have snow. There are plans to reschedule it to Saturday or even a weekday if it snows. Really? You're gonna piss off lots of fans, Rog. Especially if they have to miss the Super Bowl because its on a Monday during working hours.

I swear I had no idea it snowed in New York/New Jersey!
Lets recap, shall we? What Northern states have hosted Super Bowls? Has Chicago? No. Has Green Bay? No. Has New England? No. Has Pittsburgh? No. Has Philadelphia? No. Has Buffalo? Stop me if you've heard this, but No. What do all those stadiums have in common? Lets see...Open air stadiums, and a very good possibility of SNOW! Now, you may have noticed I left out Indianapolis, Minnesota and Detroit. Now, what do those 3 cities have in common? Lets see...DOMES!!!! Those cities have DOMES!

DOMES, as in buildings with roofs to keep the weather OUTSIDE so that people don't get too hot, too cold, wet, etc. I promise I'm not insulting your intelligence by spelling it out like this. I know that my readers are smart enough to know what I am getting at. But, apparently there are people in the upper echelons of the NFL who can't figure out the fact that there is a VERY good chance of snow in Northern New Jersey in February, so we have to spell it out, and talk very slowly. Its for the NFL suits benefit, not my readers.

Roger, this is a stadium with a retractable roof. Metlife
does not have one. That means that it is not shielded
from the weather.
Now, lets take a look at a total contradiction in reasoning from Roger Goodell. In the 2006/2007 Super Bowl in Miami between the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears, it rained for the
entire game. This was the first time that had ever happened. But, the people who paid for those ridiculously high priced tickets were complaining about it. (Bears fans were actually demanding their money back. BEARS fans who SHOULD be used to watching football in crappy weather.) Then, Roger Goodell ruled that Miami would not be able to host a Super Bowl again until they spent millions of dollars to put a roof on Sun Life Stadium. Its ridiculous, and it seemed more like a mafia style muscling considering that Tampa hosts Super Bowls frequently, and there is no roof on that
stadium, and nobody said they had to build one. (And there shouldn't be either.) Putting a roof on Sun Life Stadium would do two things. 1, It would rob Miami of their home field advantage. 2, Make fans want to vomit because the proposed designs are hideous.
This is hideous. And, what happens if a category
4 hurricane comes through?

Basically, telling Miami that they (and not Tampa or Jacksonville) have to build a roof is nothing more than hypocritical. But, after doing that, giving New Jersey a Super Bowl was a slap in the face to Miami, and a blatant example of favoritism by Goodell and the league.

No roof in Tampa as it should be.

Roger Goodell is to the the NFL what Barack 0bama is to the United States. A joke, and a wrecking ball. If the NFL survives Goodell's regime without becoming flag football in domes, it will be a miracle. Do the football fans a favor, Roger and FIRE yourself!

Its football right? Don't be a wuss and play the game in whatever weather
there is on Feb 2, and deal with it. Then, don't be such an idiot when scheduling
the venue for the Super Bowl.

Tebowing in the KI$$ Army?

One thing you can say about Kiss is that everything they touch turns to gold for the most part. They are marketing geniuses. Every project they set out on is given the heaviest promotion known to man. Their latest venture is to bring an Arena Football team to Los Angeles. The team, to start next season will of course be called The LA Kiss. And, you can bet that there will be a swarm of brand new fans to the league because of it. Alot will likely be fans who never knew the league even existed, which is awesome in its self because the league has a chance to take the spotlight.

So, what would Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley do to draw the most attention to their new franchise? You would think they would want to start at the most glamorous position, the quarterback, right? You know it. So, they would try to get a big name QB from the ranks of the NFL. But, name me an NFL QB that would risk injury. They need to get a QB, but since getting Aaron Rogers or Peyton Manning to come aboard is not going to happen, what do they do then? Bringing in an AJ Feeley or another QB who has played and lost his job for just about every NFL team is not an option, so what do you do?

You bring in Tim Tebow. And that is exactly what Simmons and Stanley are trying to do. They have reached out to Tim Tebow. Lets look at what the relationship will bring for both parties, shall we? The LA Kiss get a good quarterback that HAS won a playoff game in the NFL, yet for some reason is an outcast. They get a polarizing figure who will instantly bring all of the adoring Tebow fans who follow the man's every move. They will also get all of the people who hate him, and want to see him fail. Then, they will get the fans who like the guy because everyone likes an underdog. They will get the uber religious fans because Tebow is a devout Christian. There are 5 groups of people who will buy tickets to see Tebow in action.

Plus, the LA Kiss will be all over the news. ESPN will be running stories every hour to let the world know how Tebow is doing. The beauty of this is that the Arena Football season begins a week after the Super Bowl, during the longest off season in sports. Tebow Time will be alive and well, and so will the Arena Football League.

So, let's recap. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley wanting to bring Tim Tebow in to play QB for the LA Kiss will be good for:

  • Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley
  • The LA Kiss
  • The Arena Football League
  • ESPN and all other media
  • The TV networks who cover the games
But, will it be good for Tim Tebow? Let's look at how this would benefit him. He gets:

  • A fresh start in a new environment. And what I mean is that the stories and stigma about him not being able to cut it will be gone. He will be able to call his own shots.
  • He wants to show his stuff, this will be a good format for him to do it in. He gets to take charge of a brand new organization and make it or break it. If he is able to raise that franchise and turn it into a winner quickly, then he will have a very impressive mark on his resume when it comes to making a return to the NFL. See: Kurt Warner.
  • Most of all, a chance to silence his critics.
I am a fan of Tebow because he does have talent, and he is an underdog. (However, as a Dolphins fan, I hated seeing him go to the Jets and Patriots.) I do want him to succeed in the NFL, and I honestly think that Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley while wanting the best possible fit to bring in viewers for their team do want Tebow to succeed as well. They are business men. They know that if Tebow tears it up as the LA Kiss's QB, he will be looking for the doorway back to the NFL. They know that if Tebow does agree to come there, it will be a short term deal. But, bringing in Tebow will bring in fans that will stay with the team after he has gone back to the NFL. And, I am sure that if Tebow plays a couple seasons with the LA Kiss, then goes back to the NFL, his 2 biggest fans will be both Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons.

Keep in mind how Gene came to his defense lately. In response to all this garbage about Tebow's Christianity, Simmons had this to say:
“He’s got a religious passion, as well he should, we’re in America. He’s proud to be a Christian, what’s wrong with that? And yet, with sports media and pop culture media, they make fun of his religion. Really? In America? If he was wearing a burqa, they wouldn’t dare say anything. But if you’re a Christian, you get to be picked on? What the hell? The guy’s got family values. I never saw the media picking on Michael Vick for torturing dogs. Or this other football player, who’s alleged to have killed, committed murder.  That’s ‘cool.’ But a guy who’s religious and has got family values isn’t ‘cool?’ He’s cool to me.”
This is more than buttering up to Tebow. This is Gene being genuine in my opinion.

So, to Tim Tebow, I would say DO IT!!! Go play for the LA Kiss, tear the Arena Football League a new one, and have fun while you do it. Plus, you get to throw all this negativity back at all the hypocrites in the media. Its a job, and you have 2 owners who want YOU. Sounds like a win/win situation to me! So, once again...Tim,
